Miami no-hits Rockets Women Softball Team
In the first of a DH, Miami pitcher Courtney Vierstra no-hits the Rockets, striking out 10 in a six-inning game. 9-0 final with the RedHawks tallying 15 hits including five doubles and a solo home run.

We don't have the pitching that the top teams do. Our best pitcher from last season has regressed.

The Rockets' starter completed the game which adds to your perspective that no one in the bull pen was available or even considered. Head scarer for suer.

The Rockets have a majority 300+ plus hitter is the line up but only managed two fly balls.

Miami has a better softball facility than UT ( brick walls, with actual seats, and its modern) right up the hill from the football stadium. They recruit I believe California kids.

They have some Cali players on the roster, because their head coach is from California originally. Just like when UT had a coach from Oregon (the state) a couple coaches back, and UT had a few west coach kids who played for her. Coaches recruit where they have connections.

We had lots of California kids decades ago. Not sure about facilities; we would win more football and basketball titles.
