I’ve always enjoyed the fact that posters on this board are always on the ready to offer up dining suggestions in their area.

I thought it would be nice to have a thread dedicated to local delicacies for would be travelers.

Here in Columbus, our hidden gem is a little German place called Schmidt’s in the German Village just South of downtown (sorry visitors to the Shoe—this place will be a little out of your way)

Their sausages and chunky, German style apple sauce are amazing. The real creme de la creme is their cream puffs. They are enormous and you won’t be disappointed.

The place has an old world Biergarten feel and they have a wide variety of drink options.
