Happy San Jacinto Day!
185 years today the Texian army under General Sam Houston routed the Mexican army and captured the dictator Santa Anna and guaranteed Texas independence from Mexico. The Texians killed or captured nearly the entire Mexican force of 1500 while suffering only 11 dead and 30 wounded.
