Sorry. I got the email a few days after your post. And it was on the news, so I didn't think about revisiting the post.

MIM bbq-fest has less to do with taste, and more to do with "presentation".
Maybe they mimic that?

I doubt it. The last time I competed which I think was 2 years ago, they didn't allow any garnish or anything in the Box.

Again no garnish. If you turned it in like that, disqualified.

I didn't. I got 9th place. (and before you smartasses say it, no... it was not out of 9. It was out of 30-somthing). 07-coffee3

Wasn’t that the year 24 of the original 33 teams were disqualified for using garnish?

I didn't say you did pal. Why the big bold letters? I was just replying that THIS YEAR AGAIN NO GARNISH. because you didn't compete this year.

Oh, I didn't understand your use of the word "again" as referring to this year. I thought you were using it as reiterating the point. The bold letter "I" was just to convey WHERE to put the accent on my statement... it was meant to imply "I didn't, although some others might have." As opposed to - I DIDN'T. as an example of being super-defensive.

How did team 5 do?

I heard team 5 was ineligible due to one of the team members sleeping with a judges wife.

I always heard Tiger Lane Section F was blackballed from winning by Bowen. Have things changed?
