SIU makes FCS playoffs
Congrats to them, first time since 2009. After having several cancellations due to Covid, SIU picked up a game this weekend against a ranked opponent, Southeast Louisiana, and won. Kudos to them.

Only sixteen teams in this spring tournament and five are from the Missouri Valley. I watched a bunch of FCS games online this spring and have to say that after watching MVFC games, most other FCS games were a joke by comparison. Especially the Ohio Valley, those look like high school games, really bad.

I think they have a tough game in Weber coming up.

FCS has gotten watered down the last 20 years. All the best programs have joined CUSA or the Fun Belt, except the Dakota and Montana schools.
