Hands Up...
Who gets the feeling that the program is in a better spot on April 16th 2021 than it was one year ago today?

RE: Hands Up...
Absolutely. Love everything Miller has done thus far. If he brings back Eason (and Mason/Diarra) and gets a good recruiting class, I am going to be head over heels.

Very optimistic. Words are one thing, actions are another. We've seen a lot of positive actions so far with Coach Miller. We are in a much, much better place.

Yes. Getting rid of the former coach would have been enough, hiring a real coach doesn’t hurt.

RE: Hands Up...
I was definitely in the group that felt Brannen deserved another year or two; assuming he didn't actually do anything bad to the players. However, after reading a lot about Wes and seeing that press conference I'm pretty optimistic on the future. What he does in the next month will either solidify or soften that take, but I'm thinking good things are going to happen with recruiting based on his personality. The real question is why didn't we hire him two years ago?

I don't think we'll be losing to Houston by 40 anymore.

He's clearly from my view a better overall fit for what this program needs given it's market and spot in college bball. His story and results are almost something out of a novel, and i do think this program needs a salesman for a lot of reasons. How quickly he can get results in terms of wins and losses at the juncture is going to play out in the next 60 days. If he can pull some kids we would not have otherwise gotten he might surprise. However, i believe in time he will recruit at a very solid level as he settles in.

Tari needs to keep his mom out of twitter and other social medias and actually try to improve his ball handling and shooting skills if he returns. Otherwise, good riddance.

I also agree with that. I felt Brannen got screwed by immature young men but I was impressed with Wes Miller's record and his press conference. Best of luck for him as he attempts to revive the UC basketball program.
I liked how Dan Hoard said that Coach Wes Miller speech reminded him of Mick Cronin. That would be a good thing right now.
