Have a good feeling he's going to head to Seattle and hit a home run for his second at bat.
Eason + a few contributors via transfer and we could actually be good next year.
if Eason's mom is still controlling Tari's life and she still goes online and constantly ripping how her son is handled as in playing time, well, let him go somewhere else. Tari has a lot of talent but he was a turnover machine late in the season that cost us some games. If he comes back, let it be he is ready for hard work and learning to stop making stupid fouls and losing the ball.
Unlike, Saunders that improved a lot as the season progressed and appeared to listen and improve his game. Welcome back, Mike. I always hoped that he would return once things settled. Mike is a picture of a true Bearcat.
Tari was playing out of a position all year and still managed to put up 7 points and 6 boards per game as a freshman (Gary Clark-esque freshman year), alomg with a 20/13/4 game. He is the most talented and most promising of the freshmen by a not insignificant margin.
his crazy turnovers were a detriment as the season wound down. He tried going solo instead of team ball. Hey, if he gets serious about learning the game and developing for possibly the next level, I'm all in. But if his mom puts confusion in his head, then it be time to move on.
I am very happy about Mike Saunders return. Many fans want to focus on his speed which is very impressive. I believe he is underrated as far as his court vision is concerned. He is amkey piece of the future.

I think the biggest thing with him is the guys around him getting used to his pace.
My hope is that Saunders has some influence with his teammates in convincing them to also return.
There was some talent on the 20-21 team that would be a good jumping off point for Wes Miller to add to.
Fellow Bearcat fans.
Can someone recap who we lost to transfer (Zach Harvey for sure I believe), who is coming back and if we are waiting on anyone to decide?
Entered portal, returning to UC: Saunders
Entered portal, undecided: Mason Madsen, Eason, Diarra
Entered portal, committed elsewhere: Harvey (UCSB), Gabe Madsen (Utah)
Graduated, 5th year status unknown: Keith, Vogt
On roster, in support of new coach: MAW, Davenport
On roster, status unknown: DDJ, Lakhin

Honestly, Miller has to recruit everyone on the roster. MAW, DDJ and Davenport (along with Lahkin) were the only ones not to put their names in the portal.
So Mikey is back.
That leaves Eason, Dou, and Mason still out there.
Harvey and Gabe committed to UCSB and Utah respectively.

Thank you. I saw the Enquirer headline trip of guards returning so I was hoping that meant everyone who was undecided was coming back. I couldn’t access the article.

I didn't want to see Vogt in a bearcat uniform anymore but with the new coach and if Roberts is his assistant coach, maybe He can teach some stuff to Vogt and he could play a lot better this next year. He isnt NBA material right now but who knows in another year? UC could use his size.
If Vogt comes back my love for Wes Miller will die a little. Vogt does not belong on the team of any coach who claims to want to run and press. Vogt does not belong on the team of any coach who cares about defense and toughness.

As of right now who are the bigs on the roster? Even a warm body big for practice would be good for this team. Vogt is tougher than you give him credit for. He struggles in pick and roll defense. He shouldn't play big minutes at this level but he can definitely help this team. He also gives some class balance as we don't exactly have a ton of seniors. I'd take him back in a heart beat and hope we recruit well enough that his a small piece of the bench.
