I feel like that guy should have gone to jail. And I hate to say it but I am going to.. if he had been black he most likely would have.

One of those “argue the Constitution with cops because I think I learned some stuff off YouTube” guys. They should have drug him out and pistol whipped him. An embarrassment to all gun owners.

99% of white people would have went to "jail" or been shot. What we had was two cops that did not want their life f'ed up by shooting someone. Even if they should have because some day or night they will happen upon someone that will shot them for taking chances like this.

I think most people totally neglect the sheer number of stops like this ( or similar intense situations )of people of ALL colors that ultimately end with the dope sitting behind bars at the end of the night.

Its like 25 years of Cops never happened... like all of that video and all of those crazy situations didnt happen..... and thats just the tv show.

DO you think police would have a different mindset if they are appraoching a vehicle for a guy who has two felony warrants, one for kidnapping and assault, and who has skipped bail, over someone in a car who has no warrants?

We conservatives see this for exactly what it is and had that young man been shot because of his actions few here would have been sympathetic beyond normal human compassion for another life ended. Liberals, and can we even apply that term to the rabid left now, would have turned this into a rallying cry and martyred the kid by looting and rioting. Except that he wasn't black...

All I could find out about the rest of the story was that he was chased down and arrested.

Of course. But once you start resisting and not complying and then pull out a gun and threaten to shoot a cop then they should have a totally different mindset. At that point warrants don't matter.

No argument there, and if he was lawfully pulled over and hasnt been arrested, they need to go pick his ass up and throw him in jail. And he's lucky worst didnt come of it.

In the case of Duante, though, they knew he had two warrants, and had skipped bail on kidnapping and assault. Thats going to be a bad dude who's almost always going to do anything, including killing, to get away. Thats the type of person who knows when they get taken to jail, they are not getting out for decades.
