Ike did tell u Dudes that TIGERNATION would bring in at least one more transfer before the season starts. He

IKE's sources say there is one more player who could stripe up within a couple of weeks.
Ike cannot and shall not mention names. However, should this happen the Dude will make some noise.
TIGERNATION is battling two other teams for the dude's signing

He committed a month ago. The only thing holding it up was the AAC office as he shared. Apparently Silverfield was part of the reason the league made the change.

Lets see for the doubters when he was hired.

Can he recruit? Answer is yes.
Can he deal with adversity? Answer is yes.
Can he find good assistants? Answer is yes.
Can he win? Answer is yes.
Can he win a bowl game? Answer is quickly yes.
Can he excite the fan base? I think so what do you think?
Can he bang a doubter in the head with a chair? 04-chairshot If he has to!

He's from AL. Here are some quotes from 247:
Quote:"I was devastated when I couldn't come to Memphis initially because I committed to them a month ago, but the conference shut it down," Robinson told GT247. "They [Memphis' staff] told me to commit somewhere to make sure I got a spot, but they promised me they'd fight for me to get here and they did just that."

"When I found out the policy was eliminated, I was so happy. Honestly, I was bouncing around the house when I got the news," Robinson said. "Memphis was the frontrunner from day one, and I can't wait to get on campus with my new coaches and teammates. Words can't explain how happy I am and how much Memphis' staff means to me."

I think the AAC changed the rule this week b/c the NCAA passed the transfer legislation allowing one transfer without penalty. Any conference that kept an intratransfer sit-out rule in place, in the face of the new NCAA rule, would hurt themselves in recruiting.

And that logic would phase the AAC Office how?

I've always been in favor of the one free transfer and 5 to play 4. Period.

What happens to the Graduate Transfer rule if they use their free Transfer before then?

I would assume the previous transfer would be grandfathered in & wouldn't count against him.
