In his defense you have to remember that he's a product of our failing school system. If he was around during my time he probably would have been cast into the classes for those who weren't too bright.

He really isn't a very intelligent person and that's putting it mildly. He's a sheepo for the commies.

To pick a significant nit, how many were brought to the United States?

In the 75+- years from 1789 to 1865?

These were Dutch traders, Portuguese, Imperial English, Frenchies, Spanish (bigly) and etc. more went to South America than to the British Colonies.

The blatant ignorance is each astounding at times, rather embarrassing, and rather horrifying.

That's just cherry picking. The ones who made it to the United States after it became independent from Great Britain. Just ignore the millions that took the trip. Also ignore everything before 1789 because they that's not the responsibility of "Americans" right? You have been the one who has been failed. SAD.

RE: Teacher Likens Americans To Nazis, Compares Slavery To The Holocaust
It’s scary when “educators” are allowed to teach their own version of history. It’s scary that generations are being “educated” to believe Americans invented slavery (or worse that it was a product of the southern states), and (apparently) are being taught little about its 1000s year old history. Slavery was (is) color blind.

The below is an example of just how bad it is.

The most surprising result from his 11-year experiment? Students’ overwhelming belief that slavery began in the United States and was almost exclusively an American phenomenon, he said.

“Most of my students could not tell me anything meaningful about slavery outside of America,” Pesta told The College Fix. “They are convinced that slavery was an American problem that more or less ended with the Civil War, and they are very fuzzy about the history of slavery prior to the Colonial era. Their entire education about slavery was confined to America.”

I know. It was really embarrassing to have to have Germany come over here and end slavery for us.

Oh wait, now that I think about it, it seems I remember that it was a country that carried a flag very similar to ours that fought a war here to end slavery in America.

And then I recall that very same country going over to Europe and ending the holocaust over there too.

Wow. You'd have to be a real dumba$$ to not know that.

”Black and slave population in the United States 1790-1880
Published by Aaron O'Neill, Mar 19, 2021
There were almost 700 thousand slaves in the US in 1790, which equated to approximately 18 percent of the total population, or roughly one in every six people. By 1860, the final census taken before the American Civil War, there were four million slaves in the South, compared with less than 0.5 million free African Americans in all of the US. Of the 4.4 million African Americans in the US before the war, almost four million of these people were held as slaves; meaning that for all African Americans living in the US in 1860, there was an 89 percent* chance that they lived in slavery.”

Listen JismSurfer only 388,000 slaves were ever brought to America. At the time of the civil war there were some 4.4 million slaves in the US. Does the black population increasing by 4 million strike u as genocide?

Just to sum it up for your pea sized brain. Between 1525 and 1866 the African population in the US increased by 4 million (almost like blacks were flourishing). Net Gain 4 million Africans over 340 years.

Between 1941 and 1945, Nazi Germany and its collaborators systematically murdered some six million Jews across German-occupied Europe. Net loss off 6 million Jews over 5 years.

You need to shut your mouth and stop comparing slavery to the holocaust. I mean seriously. Unless you are anti Semitic like most other Progressive Socialist are. In that case keep running your mouth.

B1tch, I was deep sea fishing in Costa Rica all day. Stop trying to discount the atrocities of slavery in order to make yourself feel better.

He wasn't discounting anything except your idiocy for trying to conflate the two things.
