Nolley. He is a high level scorer and we have struggled to score often under Penny.
Nolley. Consistent scorer.
But getting Cisse back would be a big deal.

Nolley and it’s not even close. And that’s not a knock on Cisse.

DJ...
But Seriously it depends on what the other guys bring...
Nolley is a smooth shooter but he definitely needs help to score.
Cisse is a elite defensive player\rebounder but lacks offense...Looked for a big jump next year offensively.
Is the drop from Nolley to Minott, Camden or Davion greater than the drop from Cisse to Sam.
I'm not super high on Nolley though...He is a solid player
He scored 2-3 more points than everyone else...But he also shot 29% more shots than they did as well.

Huge news for Tiger hoops.
Agree
They are not the best players but they will be the leaders, likely along with Lester, and they are damn good players
Lomax, Williams, Quiones, Nolley will keep the cultural expectations of the program steady, making it easier for new faces to learn how to fit in. Such great news.
when you look at the 2008 team, sure Rose was the piece that had been missing, but Antonio Anderson and CDR were the core of the team. I see Lomax, Williams, and Quiones playing that role now. They will be key in keeping the culture going.
2008 had a bunch of guys...
Dozier was the most under appreciated...Kid did it all but got no glory.
Dorsey was just a defensive stopper/Rebounder.

One of the most under appreciated performances was Dozier in the national championship game. 5 offensive rebounds and 10 in total. Dorsey had 2 and Taggart had 6. IF CDR passes the ball back to him instead of getting intentionally fouled, he gets credit for the championship clinching dunk.

RE: DeAndre Williams is returning
Deandre is yuge culturally and for team chemistry. LQ will be too, but he's still maturing. (He made big strides this year.) Lomax leads more by example. I think we get off to a good start next year.
The core 3 of LQ, Landers, and Deandre make a formidable lineup basis.
Coach Roy said they were making the announcement so that other players can see who they will be playing with. Not sure who that was directed at, but it seems to be someone.

This is what I found so far
Quote:Those in fall and winter sports must notify their schools by May 1 that they intend to transfer; in spring sports, the notification date will be July 1. The notification dates begin in 2022.
For this year, athletes in all sports will be required to notify their schools about their intent to transfer by July 1.
I would think if someone transfers outside the timeframe, he would have to sit out a year.
Unless it's a coaching change or a scholly withdrawal. For that, there will be an appeal process (good grief).

Thanks
Also, the new rule only allows you to transfer once without penalty. A second time, you still have to sit out a year.
Unless the transfer involves the University of Memphis, whereupon no matter when you transfer you must sit out until pigs fly....

Wasn't that after Dozier blocked a shot to start the fast break CDR was on and just before Dozier grabbed an offensive rebound off of CDR's missed free throw?
On a different note, I hate how players wait to get fouled. I'd much rather them play hot potato and not let the defenders near them. As I recall, I wanted CDR to dribble out and pass it back to AA (play keep away from KU) on that play.

If I had to choose I am picking DJ.
DJ Better rebounder...Better defender...Better facilitator...More Versatile (Especially on defense)
Nolley definitely a better scorer.
Now that is all of the physical tools...Now I am not sure DJ was a leader by example or vocally. But if DJ got serious definitely had much more upside.
