Nice, thanks Steve. The article does not do math well. Heath’s salary is $360k for base and media obligations. And another $20k annual retention bonus for a total of $380k per year once applied. (Not sure where the author got $375k from?). In any case, seems a slight raise over Murphy’s $350k for base+media obligations. That is fitting.

So it is the 325 base as previously reported but just shy of the 400k number many of us tossed around. Frankly Heath is a great deal at those numbers. Wonder if there is a buyout clause by either party.

It is a good deal. Heath probably has plenty of money in the bank after his previous stops. May be a situation where he didn't come to EMU for the money as much as the opportunity to coach his alma mater in his home state. It might also allow a larger budget for assistant coaches.
