Exclamation Interesting Pete Thamel Article about BSU Football
Not many articles devoted to MAC teams. This one is worth the read..

11/10/21 at Huskie Stadium. Could be a good one.

Surprised that someone like Pete Thamel -- who has been around the MAC awhile -- didn't take note of an interesting pattern: NIU under Cary Groth's direction had the wisdom to stick with coach Novak and let him build the program. Then WMU and Kathy Beaurregard dealt with the antics of PJ Fleck while he uplifted the Broncos. At BSU, Beth Goetz gives Neu the time to create his program. At NC State, Debbie Yow ignored some early critics of Dave Doeren. Maybe male ADs lack the patience and understanding to see the correlation between time and the rebuild necessary.
