Probably expect the 2 for 1 with Georgia Tech to begin this season. Since Kennedy is Buddies with Frank Martin And Bob Huggins. Could expect to play South Carolina and/or WVU eventually.

With coach’s SEC connections, I get the feeling we’ll play some of those schools as well eventually.

A friend who is a WVU Alum told me a while back that the Mountaineers are playing UAB in Birmingham this coming season. I haven’t saw that anywhere but it would be a cool first game in the “new” Legacy Arena.

It came out on a pod cast last summer with HCAK, Martin and Huggins, when Martin was kidding Huggins about getting out of C-USA so he didn't have to play in Birmingham anymore. And here he is already agreeing to go back down here next season ('21-'22).

I think ETSU is coming to Bartow Arena.

I would love to see some solid non-bcs teams h-h such as:
Harvard
Northern Iowa
Boise State
Utah State
Ohio
St. Louis
Dayton

Add in Butler as well as other Horizon League schools &/or their equals.

Butler lost to UAB in December then went undefeated until losing to Duke in the Final Four NC game.

Butler is in the Big East now. To big of a program for a H-H these days, unless Andy has some sort of connection.

You realize Butler has been out of the Horizon league for like a decade now and the game youre talking about happened a dozen years ago, right?

Oh Gee!! Here I was thinking UAB records were still relevant today. No. I did not keep up with Butler BB since my granddaughter decided not to go there (to study pharmacy). I am not among those who can recite G5 basketball league's names & histories and the schools in them. When I was growing up, basketball was a game played by football players as out of season conditioning and girls played it 3 on 3.

RE: UAB Basketball
Butler is not some random basketball school.(also, the G5 is a football term, not basketball) What's sad is you could probably tell us every move every power 5 school has made during this same time period.
