Eva Hodgson to UNC
Per her Instagram page.

Huge loss for us, best of luck to her though, she deserves it.

Eva Hodgson to UNC
It's a good problem to have. Get a superstar for a few years, graduate, move to a P5 school.

Congratulations to Eva! I hope she has tons of personal success and I thank her for all the great play that she brought to W&M. The really bad part of it is that she is taking her skills to a school that I hate. Too bad that she didn't go to the big school near her home -- UConn.

UConn wouldn't be at all interested in a good to very good mid-major player, which is what Hodgson clearly is. She was playing at the right level. Offensive stats quite good, but overall play didn't, in my opinion, equal that of Dehenzel and Aldridge (2007-2012 period.) UNC is a more reasonable step up, but I think a lot of hopes and expectations will be dashed. Of course, time will tell.

I just hope she doesn't look lost on the floor, like Pierce did.

I don't know about that. She's only played two seasons and I would put her easily over both Kat and Jeaneane. I think she may have had a chance to be our best of all time.

I was looking forward to her leading the team to winning some championship banners to hang in the rafters (there aren't any up there!).
