Shame on all of us for not cleaning house on Public Education 30 years ago. I took on some issues in the 80's with my oldest daughter and then sent my youngest to Catholic school. I was out of it as a parent by the 90's, but way too many people I knew would simply say "What the Hell" when their kids came home with whacko ideas they had been told. The teachers weren't confronted enough and the local school boars weren't petitioned about it and way too many said, well they'll learn the truth when they go to college. But that was polluted too. Then their excuse while they cheered on State U was well college is always liberal they learn when they get a job. But not if the job is corporate and their CBE's are just more leftist indoctrination and by the time they work for a corporation they are too scared to buck the system for fear of becoming unemployable with a corporate blackball in their personnel file delivered as a paper dagger by an HR idiot with a degree in Psychology they got online and an online counselor's license.

I'm afraid that with the death of private business (mostly due to government regulations on the little guy and perks for the conglomerates) that we've lost our last window to learn practical values.

The 2nd Amendment is not going anywhere. It's well within the power of the president and congress to impose limits on things.

Saying you can't own a nuclear weapon or making you wait a week after passing a background check to purchase a gun is not taking away your Constitutional right to an arm.

And just like when Harry Reid eliminated the 60 vote rule and it came back to bite the Dems on Supreme Court nominations......this latest Dem tactic will eventually come back to bite them again.

The Dems have a penchant for playing the “I want it right now” game as though the pendulum never swings back the other way.

It’s the classic “short term satisfaction but long term detriment”
