Instead of mopping the floor while the basement flooded, DJT did everything he could to turn off the water, with full on democrat and media resistance the entire time.

Quid pro Joe put down the mop and opened the tap.

If the problem was solved, then we wouldnt have the crisis we have now.

Biden just ripped the band aid off.

If one provides incentive to come then they will. When you promise to take care of people once they get here what is the logical conclusion? What Biden said he would do if elected is why the situation is what it is.

I agree with you. Biden is partly to blame for more people coming but the fact of the matter is that caravans of people came even when Trump was in office too.

Trump made it very clear that he didn't want them to come and yet we saw massive surges in immigration anyway.

Caravans came and were halted. Meanwhile democrats wailed about the mistreatment, established sanctuary cities, and did everything they could to undermine any efforts to stem the flow or send illegals back. Democrats own this.

That's not at all true. The caravans were processed and dumped in various cities throughout the United States.

It was widely reported.

If you like I could post some links .

"In November, thousands of Central American migrants, part of caravans bound for the US, reached Tijuana, where many waited to seek asylum in the United States. Tensions flared up at the San Ysidro port of entry when some migrants tried to cross the border and authorities used tear gas to disperse the group. Central American migrants are still waiting to apply for asylum in Tijuana."

There were caravans that split up and I'm sure some did indeed cross but there was at least an effort made to have them remain in Mexico for processing.

This is correct. When the caravans first arrived, the administration did try to stop it. However, as the processing continued, the facilities began to get overwhelmed and many of the asylum seeker were released in U.S. cities within a month.
