So, anyway, how long does he have to decide. There is a time limit, right? So when will we know for sure what he's going to do?

No date set yet, but likely to be late June.
I wish they would set the transfer portal to only be open at the same times of NBA early entrance (April-June).

He is an African basketball player from a single mom household who didn't move to NY until he hit a growth spurt at age 16. Always attending private schools, he moved from NY to Memphis in HS, and became the #10 recruit. If you don't think he has handlers in this day & age, I don't know what to tell you.

I admire his story. But he has a long way to go to make NBA money. And it appears that Memphis might be moving on without him.

The post was uncalled for and you know it - read the whole thing not just “stone hands.”

So were others in this thread. The kid is 19 and has been playing basketball for 5-6 years. Just because you and others sit on the couch with your belly sticking out with the athletic ability of a sloth doesn’t mean you should take cheap shots at a kid on the Internet because he decided to test the nba waters.

Discuss his deficiencies like a damn adult. None of you computer cowboys would call him stone hands or take the tones you have in this thread to his face. You’d probably kiss his azz.

You’re the snowflakes. Actually not even snowflakes you’re giant p*****.

It is Incredible that bozos that can't even master grade 3 spelling and grammar, that never played sports, with bottom of the barrel personal standards, are so critical. Stone hands guy quit on the team at halftime against Houston. So Cisse and the team don't meet his standards. He can't deal with it.

Another clown wants Cisse, Dandridge and many others to transfer. He was completely offended because Dandridge went 2-7 from the field. Not good enough for a winner who can't make a layup on a Nerf hoop. Another bozo doesn't want Cisse back because he's a 5*. Many others say DJ is crap. Then there is the garbage on Lomax.

Disgusting.

Calm down

I haven't denigrated the poor child. All I've said is that we couldn't afford to have him on the floor late in games, with the historically poor FT shooting. And if that is his demand, then I'm okay with him walking.

Others have said stone hands - which is a pretty common criticism of someone who struggles to catch a pass. Hard to debate that he struggled to catch passes. I see nothing wrong with that criticism, but I can admit I'm not hypersensitive.

And I never get the "say it to his face" lines, lol. Seems very bully-ish and usually comes from someone proclaiming that the other guy is the bully. Hard to take someone serious when they call other people names and then tell them to say it to their face.

You’re minimizing what was said in this thread and cherry picking. Go re-read some of the posts. When you read them, read them and try to put your ego and Internet persona, imaginary points, and online clicks (no pun intended) aside.

Be honest with yourself and use the moral compass you use in life and not on the Internet.

Then ask ask yourself honestly what kind of tone they set and if they were over the top considering that they were about a 19 year old who has played a sport for less than 6 years.

My high school football coach tagged me with a name that stuck for life as that's what my high school buddies call me.

Why don't you summarize it for me with actual quotes of what you found offensive, so I don't have to re-read 200+ posts? I really don't care enough to do that.

Youre too funny. You did read them. You purposefully misquoted one in order to make your post look better (something you’ve done several times on this site).

And I didn’t find them offensive, I called them out for being over the top about a 19 year old who has been playing basketball for 5-6 years. Calling out garbage like that doesn’t make one a “snowflake.” Not everything is political as much as you’d like for it to be.

Ok, I took your advice. I went back and re-read. I put my tough-guy internet persona aside, and channeled a kinder, gentler 87. Kind of like Ike and the leprechauns.

Here is the name calling that I found, no cherry picking:
post 5 - Kobe
post 9 - Tako Fall
post 14 - Mr Rock Hands
post 111 - dude
post 117 - freshman of the year
along with a variety of kid, teenager, young man
most common name calling? Moussa or Cisse

There were like 2 posters in the entire thread who went after Moussa.
The vast majority of us were supportive and offered opinions on his playing time and NBA draftability.
You're simply creating an enemy who is not here in this thread, for some reason.

In all fairness to both of you, it wasn't in this specific thread, but it is rampant. For a better snapshot, go to Cisse's game log, and then read the threads when he doesn't have good games.

Agree. Saying a guy has bad hands or can’t shoot free throws isn’t bashing imo. Maybe I’m wrong. Won’t be the first time. Why are we still arguing about this?

The things my coach called me violate the AUP. And he was usually right.

Your coach knew you (and probably your parents and siblings), your background, and more importantly he had the cajones to say it to your face.

Why don't you summarize it for me with actual quotes of what you found offensive, so I don't have to re-read 200+ posts? I really don't care enough to do that.

In all fairness to both of you, it wasn't in this specific thread, but it is rampant. For a better snapshot, go to Cisse's game log, and then read the threads when he doesn't have good games.

Correct.

If we have two available right now, does that mean Jayden is a walkon? I count 12 with him.

Rumor is, IF Cisse is back, Malcolm won't be. So possibly 3 either way...if Jayden is a walk-on, which sounds like he is.

So, anyway, how long does he have to decide. There is a time limit, right? So when will we know for sure what he's going to do?

No date set yet, but likely to be late June.
I wish they would set the transfer portal to only be open at the same times of NBA early entrance (April-June).

There are two deadlines NCAA's which is still to be determined and NBA's (July 19). Don't know why there are two but got it from here:

Yeah, I think there are always 2 dates - not sure why. The NCAA's always comes first and is the one that matters.
Most think the NCAA's will be end of June this year.
