The stripper, Lunden Alexis Roberts, was working in a DC strip club when she met Hunter, who had been going through “more than four years of active addiction.”

In the book, Hunter talks about ​a blind date where he met ​his ex-wife Kathleen and his relationship with his late brother Beau’s widow Hallie.

“It was my first actual date in 26 years,” Hunter said. “​​My relationship with Hallie belonged to a whole other category, and the other women I’d been with during rampages since my divorce were hardly the dating type. We’d satisfy our immediate needs and little else.”

​Hunter and Roberts reached a settlement for child support last March, The Post reported.

In interviews on CBS that aired Sunday and Monday to promote the book, Biden also said he didn’t believe he made a “mistake” by taking a seat on the board of a Ukrainian energy company while his father was the then-vice president tasked with overseeing US policy in the country.

“I don’t think I made a mistake in taking a spot on that board. I think I made a mistake in terms of underestimating the way it would be used against me,” he said of the $50,000-a-month gig.

Emails about his ​and his father’s ​connection to Burisma that were found on a laptop that Hunter dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019 and never picked up were part of an expose The Post wrote last Octobe​r.

In the CBS interview Sunday, he said he couldn’t recall if he dropped off the MacBook Pro.

“Certainly, there could be a laptop out there that was stolen from me, that could be that I was hacked, it could be that it was Russian intelligence, it could be that it was stolen from me,” Hunter said.

Yes, that’s a grown man calling a book ostensibly written by Hunter Biden “breathtaking” as if it’s anything more than yet another Biden family grift. Stelter swoons over Hunter’s “extraordinary” journey from crack-addled corruptocrat to — hang on let me check my notes — crack-addled corruptocrat? Truly, the lack of growth is a testament to the human will.

Stelter then frames the bad press Hunter has received, all of which has been true and deserved, as “tabloid” coverage. And of course, that big bad Fox News is always picking on the president’s son. I mean, it’s not like he’s been in league with Chinese communists, got kicked out of the military for drug use, or tried to abandon a stripper he got pregnant. Oh wait, he actually did do those things.

But the real story here, as told by Stelter, is that Hunter is a victim. He’s a victim of the “right-wing,” never mind that the negative reports about his business dealings and abandoned laptop are completely true and verified. CNN wants you to know that Hunter has changed. Heck, he wrote a book, and if you write a book to make a few million bucks off an advance, then truly, a reformation must have occurred.

Meanwhile, back in the real world, Hunter Biden is every bit the low-life he’s always been. No amount of squeeing from the potato section on CNN is going to change that.

Hell..By the Biden's own admission it was discussed before hand. This guy is a pathological lair. He actually now believes this BS story he pitched.

There's an awful lot the Biden family seems forgetful about, isn't there? I'm sure if he can't recall the multiple visits with the stripper it's definitely plausible he forgot his laptop with kiddie porn at a repair shop, or how he got all his gigs with no experience.

An investigation by Republican congressmen last year said that Biden’s work for Burisma was "problematic" but found no evidence that American foreign policy had been influenced by his position at the Ukrainian company, according to the Washington Examiner.

His controversial business dealings also made him the target of Republican attacks during the last presidential election and were center stage in former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment, where Trump was accused of asking Ukraine’s president to probe the Bidens in return for the restoration of military aid, the BBC reported.

In an interview earlier this week with CBS News, Hunter Biden insisted that "I'm 100% certain … that I will be cleared of any wrongdoing" at the conclusion of an ongoing Department of Justice investigation into his financial dealings, adding that "I'm co-operating, completely" with the probe.

In the BBC interview, he talked about his drug and alcohol addiction, saying he suffered trauma from the death of his mother and sister in a car accident in 1972, explaining that "There's something at the center of each addict that's missing, that they feel that they need to fill ... Nothing can possibly fill it. And so you numb yourself."

He added that when his brother Beau died of cancer in 2015, he "descended into a really dark, dark place … I'd separated with my wife, I was in an apartment by myself, and I was basically drinking myself to death."

Although his struggle with addiction made him a target for tabloid stories and political attacks, Hunter Biden said it was also something to which people could relate.

"I think what people see in the Biden family is their family," he said. "I think that they see all of the tragedy in loss, but they see all the love and sincerity. And I think that they see that we're not much different than any other family."

Chuck Grassley of Iowa and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin pushed the Secret Service for answers last week over the agency’s intervention, as reported by Politico, when in 2018, Hallie Biden — who was Beau Biden’s widow-turned-Hunter Biden’s love interest — tossed Hunter’s firearm into a grocery store dumpster.

“Hallie took the gun to Janssen’s Market, a nearby high-end grocery store where the Bidens are longtime regular customers,” wrote Politico. “There, she tossed the gun, wrapped in a black shopping bag, into a trash bin outside the store.”

When Hallie went to retrieve the firearm, it had gone missing, which raised concerns given the store is across the street from a local high school. Delaware State Police and the FBI both launched an investigation into the missing weapon, along with the Secret Service, according to Politico.

“Any involvement by the Secret Service on behalf of the Biden family or on its own initiative would be inappropriate interference in an incident that was already being investigated by Delaware State Police with the involvement of the FBI, according to law enforcement officials,” Politico wrote.

The report provoked the initial inquiry from Grassley and Johnson in late March.

“In light of the recent press report, please provide all records relating to your agency’s involvement in the alleged October 2018 incident with respect to Hunter Biden’s firearm no later than April 8, 2021,” the top Republicans wrote in a letter to the director of the Secret Service dated March 25.

The response from the security agency was unsatisfactory and matched the response it gave Politico. Secret Service reiterated in a letter to Grassley and Johnson on March 31 that no one in the Biden family was under government protection in 2018 and said the Secret Service “has not located any records responsive to your request.”

“Your office’s assertion that it cannot locate records related to this incident demands further explanation,” the senators wrote. “The Secret Service must explain, in detail, the steps that it took to respond to the committees, including whether your office communicated with any current or former personnel that may have been connected to this incident.”

Johnson and Grassley also requested an update on the agency’s response to their five-month-old demand for travel records related to Hunter Biden in 2015, after his protection was ended.

Decades later, Biden would throw change out of his apartment window to her and she would go to the store to buy him cigarettes.

In 2016, Biden relapsed on cocaine while in Monte Carlo for a meeting of the board of Burisma, the Ukranian gas company that paid him five figures a month after getting angry that Europeans discussing Brexit did not heed his warnings about the “rise of far-right populism.” When he returned to the U.S., he admitted the cocaine use to a drug counselor but refused to take a drug test, instead returning to the park and buying crack from Bicycles, which he smoked outside a downtown coffee shop.

Bicycles eventually moved into his apartment, with Biden giving her keys. “She commandeered the TV and only watched those true-crime shows, with the volume turned way up,” he wrote, at one point believing a serial killer was hiding inside the walls.

But Bicycles had her act together more than Biden in some ways, and “got mad when I left dirty clothes on the coffee table or spilled vodka on the rug,” he wrote.

Later while living in Los Angeles, Biden was repeatedly shooed from hotels for the disruptive behavior of himself and his guests, which he blamed on racism by hotel staff. He wrote:

An ant-trail of dealers and their sidekicks rolled in and out, day and night. They pulled up in late-series Mercedes-Benzes, decked out in oversized Raiders or Lakers jerseys and flashing fake Rolexes. Their stripper girlfriends invited their girlfriends, who invited their boyfriends. They’d drink up the entire minibar, call room service for filet mignon and a bottle of Dom Pérignon. One of the women even ordered an additional filet for her purse-sized dog. When they finished, two or three days later, they’d walk out with the hotel’s monogrammed towels and throw pillows and comforters and ashtrays.

But when the “front desk informed me that guests were complaining about the parade of ne’er-do-wells traipsing in and out of my room and asked me to leave[,] I saw it as blatant racism and let them know it.
