Feel awful for UCLA

That was the best college basketball game I've ever watched.

Jim Nantz compares this to the Laetner shot with Grant Hill. This was even better.

Wow, wow, wow. Best game of the year. I feel for UCLA, but terrific win for Gonzaga. Just wow.

Only thing this finish compares to me is 3 years ago with UNC/Villanova.

baylor will crush ganzaga

That was actually 5 years ago (UNC/Villanova). Time flies I guess.

Gonzaga-Baylor could be a great one too. I'll give Baylor the edge in athleticism and defense, but Gonzaga's size could be an issue (although Baylor has size on the bench).

I was trying to figure out some of the great championship finals in college history. 1979 has to rank #1 with an undefeated Indiana State (Larry Bird) and then Michigan State (Magic's freshman year). 1982 is another classic (a loaded UNC team with a freshman Michael Jordan and then James Worthy and Sam Perkins also as starters vs. a Georgetown team with Patrick Ewing as a freshman).

Any others come to mind?

Really great F4 game. Props to the Bruins, it’s not easy to be that efficient offensively playing half court ball and running the clock down like that. They shot the ball extremely well and hung with a very good Gonzaga team. I’m a best of whatever series Gonzaga would win but tonight it was anyone’s game and Madness called it.

this might be the first thing post sports coming back from COVID that wow just knocks your socks off....

It's definitely up there. The one I'd pick was Digger Phelps Irish ending U.C.L.A.'s win streak. It too was a great game both ways as well. But this was the best tournament game I can remember.

I am proud of the Bruins. They fought hard, took it to OT and the best team in the Country beat them at the buzzer. They went 5-1 in the tournament. Baylor is a very good team, but they will not be facing Houston, who folded like a cheap suit. Gonzaga will beat Baylor for the championship.

I found myself rooting for UCLA. Their team grew on me the last couple weeks. What a game.
