Transfers galore
Just looking at the loses in the ACC in VC's "Recent Activity":
Clemson - 2
Duke - 2
FSU - 1
Ga Tech - 1
Louisville - 1
Miami - 2
NC State - 2
NC - 2
Pitt - 2
Syr - 3
Vir - 3
Va Tech - 2
Wake - 2

That's 25 just from that one conference. So far.

Someone posted that the Sun Belt had 40 in the Transfer Portal. That was a couple of days ago, so it is probably more now. I'd probably take any one of those 25 from the ACC, sight unseen, if they were not "head" cases. Doubt that there are many ACC signees who couldn't contribute in the Belt.

RE: Transfers galore
In an ordinary season, I would reason that our coach has some problems with personnel. But in this crazy season, who knows? And the NCAA is going out of its way to discourage any sort of loyalty among players toward the schools, so they are getting what they want, it appears.

RE: Transfers galore
As a kid growing up in the Northeast, I thought it would be frustrating to be a college sports fans as the players only played for your team for 3 or 4 years (not sure when freshman eligibility kicked in). Those were the days when many MLB players stayed with their team for most, if not all, of their careers. It is getting to where it will be rare to have a player for more than a couple of years on your college team. I think that is a sad thing, but I guess we'll just have to get used to it.
