Exclamation Designing a P4 (18 teams in each conference) - Expansion
So I've done P4's with 16 in a conference and 14 in a conference. But for you fans of non power football teams, I'm sure you want in! So here's your chance.

The goal is four Power conferences but this time with 18 teams per conference so there's 72 seats at the table. The Power conferences now have to add at least seven new schools (again, reality is an R-word at this board)! Also, you are still free to cut current P5 schools if you wish to add more that seven schools.

Big Ten:
Penn State, Pittsburgh, Temple*, Rutgers, Ohio State, Cincinnati*, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, Purdue, Notre Dame, Illinois, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Iowa State, Missouri

ACC:
Boston College, Syracuse, Maryland, Virginia, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, North Carolina, Duke, NC State, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Central Florida*

SEC:
Kentucky, Louisville, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Memphis*, Alabama, Auburn, Mississippi, Mississippi State, LSU, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU, Baylor, Houston*

Pac 18:
UCLA, USC, California, Stanford, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, BYU*, Colorado, Boise State*, Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Texas Tech

* New to Power Conferences. I'll assume football only otherwise Connecticut would be in somewhere.

If you add BYU and Boise State, the Pac 18 still only has room for four Central Time Zone members.

Agree with these seven? Post who should be added instead or would you cut a current Power member to add another G5/non ND indy.

Since I just created a Pacific Southwest Conference by adding the top 8 programs from the PAC to the B12, I have left the other three P conferences needing four teams each and only having G5 schools to choose from. So I can't play - there are no good choices left.

So you just stopped by to take a dump on the G5? Well, to each their own, I guess.

If you can come up with 11 eastern G5 teams to add to the SEC, B1G and ACC, have at it. The ACC has dibs on Notre Dame.

If you're expanding the pot, then the idea is that these teams are going to absorb conference losses so that your BIG teams are actually good.

Memphis, Cincy, Temple, etc. are in play if you're looking for teams that can fill the role. These are NOT bellcows.

I'll do mine later tonight.
