I haven’t been keeping up with this, but doesn’t everybody get a waiver because of Covid to where they don’t have to sit out a year? If so, this is t surprising. Any kid that is at all not happy can reset their situation with no penalty.

RE: What is Penny doing?
I will say this...
Penny seems to be open with the media about the inner workings of his team.
Saying players were selfish and not team players when we started the season probably didn't help him if he wanted to try to pull these players back into the fold.
I am sure the players knew exactly who he was talking about even if he didn't mention them by name.

Penny wants players to go about the game like him...Focused and driven.
Penny needs to evaluate these traits during the recruiting process if that is the type of player he wants.

Penny knows what he’s doing. This doesn’t bother me a bit. He’s probably got the replacements already lined up.

let's not kid ourselves, Penny recruited all 3 of these guys, all three are starters/rotation players and all 3 are solid high D1 players. Losing these 3 hurts, and i expect to lose at least one of Nolley /Williams to the pro ranks and maybe both. DJ and Boogie were both guys who could get buckets, and a team needs those.
A core of lomax/q at the guards and cisse/dandridge in the middle is borderline.. no real scoring threats there. I expect Penny will get at least one guy who can create regardless of his position, and another big body.
hopefully one of the frosh is ready for significant minutes but it's hard to count on that

I agree losing these guys hurts...They were very valuable pieces during the season.
But if Penny has an issue with certain personality types...He should identify those during the recruiting process.

Maybe in a case or two, but you better take a look at the roster because most of what's left are not playing at the next level.
lol
There are better NBA prospects in Nolley, Williams, Cisse than there are in the 3 leaving.
And how would you quantify their chances?
Much higher than Baugh's

Better than Baugh or Jefferies. Boogie is also a leaper and an excellent pt guard rebounder. He will have a shot if he continues to improve at his next spot. He would be ready for the pro game if he had spent another year with Penny.

Does someone see the success that Boogie has had and want their son to catapult/crescendo this way
