That's about the right level for him. Very glad he did not come with Gus to UCF.

His reputation is Texas High School football. He reportedly knows it very well. He should do well at Allen. Maybe he can direct some talent to SMU.

This is true. And probably has better attendance at their games.

My GOD, google earth Allen High school. This place looks like a college campus. Their stadium is better than most CUSA and Sunbelt schools.

I checked it out a few years ago when visiting my best friend in McKinney/Plano. It's amazing.

It's great to be able to issue bonds and tax homeowners to pay for them. The district assesses a property tax of $4.50 per $1,000 of home valuation to pay for bonds (on top of the $11.40 per $1000 for running the district). So if you have a $200,000 home, you're paying $900 annually on bonds to go with $2,280 annually for actually running the place. I'm sure the stadium isn't the only thing they've bonded - new schools are regularly bonded - but that $60m stadium is probably a decent portion of that tax.

Wise choice by Chad Morris. He did not let his ego drive his career. Many other college coaches need to follow
his example.
