Everytime i think i'm out they draw me back in
They look so strong until the last two qualifying games.

Then just stupid mistakes start to show up again.

Bad back pass in the Mexico game and then a total meltdown in the Honduras game.

Bad enough to give up a goal a few seconds before the half.

But then keep tries to clear it and kicks it off a defender's foot into the goal.

The other side of the field was clear, but he decides he wants to try and bend it around a defender just yards from him.

Almost gave away another goal with another poor clearance kick.

Honestly not sure why so many of our >24 players are playing for the USMNT and not qualifying for the Olympics.

I honestly would feel better if they qualified and none of those players played in the Olympics. I know Christian P, for one, was interviewed and said he really wanted to play in the Olympics. Then why wasn't he allowed to make sure we qualify for it.

In the long run, it might be better that we didn't qualify. Gold Cup, Nations and WC qualifying are all coming at close to the same time. Olympics would've further divided the team. WC is the big one.
