UH officially has the most final fours without a championship. Maybe we can finally cash in and win one!

On a side note: Somehow Tulsa beat Houston 3 months ago today...

Tulsa could end up with wins over the NCAA and NIT champs.

Great to see the support from our conference brethren!

Hopefully our run helps to bolster the AAC brand and benefits us all! This league is better than given credit for.

IMO Memphis is better than all the teams we've faced in the tournament so far.

Huge congrats to the Houston Cougars. A strong team with great grit and chemistry. Deserving of this trip to the Final Four.

As a Memphis fan, I will gladly accept that high praise (though I'm not sure I full agree)!

Oh just looking at the teams on the floor, Memphis looks clearly better than who UH has played so far. UH had also played better than this last game. If Grimes & his mates are hitting their perimeter shots while playing their normal tough D & rebounding, nobody will beat them. But the competition gets real from this point, we'll see.

Houston is undefeated all time in Elite 8 games. Now 6-0 I believe.

RE: Go Coogs!
I get tired of the narrative that Houston’s opponents “had a bad game”. There’s a reason for that. Houston may not be the highest flying offense, but that defense will make anyone look bad. They aren’t getting any credit because it’s not exciting to talk about guarding the perimeter or team rebounding.

Win or lose next weekend, having a Final Four under your belt is awesome for the UH to notch and fantastic for the AAC to boast, along with Memphis as NIT Champions. I am so thrilled!

Congrats Coogs on making the Final 4!!! This league will always get put down by the talking heads but we just keep winning, Final 4's, NIT's, New Years Bowls, beat so called Power 5 schools routinely. Go win it all!!

Extending that thought... just think if more teams in the AAC could only sustain that kind of success throughout the season, where this conference would be.
