They shouldn’t be in. The only team they beat this year was Vandy. Vandy hadn’t played a game all spring and was already locked into the ncaa tournament. Lost badly to a poor ole miss team, lost in conference tournament. Honestly not a good team this year. Poor keeper play and looked at crossing the ball in as the primary way to score. Very predictable and easy to defend

So we get disrespected even in women's soccer???

I would hope a ranked Tiger team would go to the tourney but I don't follow women's soccer (other than the polls).

the problem is that they reduced the field size to 48 but kept all the auto bids. So 29 conferences are playing the soccer on the women's side, so only 19 at large bids available.

They are overrated this year. Anyone that knows soccer and has watched knows. I think we are getting respect based on the number of years the Ladies have been good by being ranked. I would be shocked if we made the tournament

I think Jones will need to move to the middle. We lack a dynamic attacker in the middle. Not sure if Larrisy returns but I think having Jones in the middle should help. I really like Stordy. The backs are good but keeper communication getting the defense organized lacked. That’s exactly how they were scored on yesterday

They will need USF to win the conference tourney otherwise a big gets taken. Don’t know if they won last night will check

Yes USF beat ECU 1-0, need them to beat Cincy

Feed bad for the girls, so many opportunities and came up empty while Cincy had one or two real chances and scored on the one

First half the girls missed an open goal on a break, had a goal DQed for a not involved in the play offsides, hit the cross bar later, and just couldn’t force a break on a huge number of corners

A tough loss

USF did win today so no bid theft by Cincy

A chance for Memphis to be one of 48 in women’s tourney

Went 8-3 outscored opponent's 17-9
6-1 in conference season 6-2 overall
Beat #6 Vanderbilt
Ranked 21 before the upset loss to Cincy

Vandy played 3 games in the Spring before they played the Tigers. I do however agree that with some teams playing a conference only schedule, it did probably help a good bit.
