Yeah, I haven't listened to 92.9 in a year or so. It's one thing to state your beliefs. Quite another to make fun of and say someone is stupid for not agreeing with his eminence, Gary Parrish.

I saw a tweet late last year where they claim their station ratings have never been better.

Gave him a chance years ago. Seemed like a kid hiding a serious closet inferiority complex by severely overcompensating. Haven’t helped pay his salary by listening in years.

He riding Mike's jock hard but he had to repair that relationship because he like to throw little jabs and crack on the guest especially he did that when Mike was on. He also questioned why Penny never started Tyler Harris when the answer was obvious. They are not insiders or journalists because they don't even show up at the U of M press conference. Yeah, I'm simply not commuting any longer.
So I strictly do podcasts and listen to just the segments I want to listen - which are Tigers segments and a few random interviews.
With J&J, that means about 15 minutes of their daily 3-hour show.

But make no mistake, Martin has changed his tune since Miller left the staff. Expect a hugely sarcastic "national champ" show tomorrow.

I took paternity leave and got up with my kid in the middle of the night, gave my wife well needed and deserved breaks, and changed a TON of diapers. I also watched a lot of tiger games with then sleeping on my shoulder while mom rested.

I wouldn’t trade that time with my kiddo for anything.

Btw- I don’t blame him , most people would do the same thing if the could - he has taken advantage of whatever breaks he has gotten and has pissed off people enough to get ratings.... like I said, it beats the hell out of working a “real” job.
