I spent a few hours trying to decide whether to get in my master bath closet or in my pantry under the stairs. I finally decided to just go back into my office and watch Last Chance U.

You should go straight for the pantry under the stairs, assuming it has food. The storm shelter at my grandmother's house in Miss was just a lil cave dug into a hunk of built-up ground, but it had shelves of canned preserves she had put away. I always took a spoon. lol

We had the same setup at a neighbor's house. But before any of us kids went in, someone had to go in and check for snakes. Fun times.

I miss my grandmother's pear preserves...

We used to fill places with mothballs. In reality, they don't repel snakes but they to repel their food.

Huh...that's a good idea. So mice really don't like camphor. Seems like I could put some in my garage then, in the closet there. I always have traps set.

Got any answers for some varmint putting holes everywhere in the back yard?
I've tried peppermint cotton balls...and flooding it out

That looks like a Corsa Convertable.

I think that's a Corvair.

RE: ***Official tornadic weather thread***
I work with the NOAA since 94. We have short lived tornadoes. These tornadic storms are hard to predict, even on radar. This will be overnight, so be careful and have a plan of action if necessary. You won’t be able to see these coming, and most will hit the ground quickly and go back up. They can hit a house and gone in seconds. Be alert and stay safe, if anything warrants.

This thread was started about the bad weather 3 nights ago. Are you saying we are gonna have more bad weather tonight?

Yes. There is a slight chance for short lived tornadoes tonight. The atmosphere will be just enough unstable for them.
