The “news” has always been biased to a degree, but years ago they did a much better job of not being so overt about it.

Here’s what I wish we could make mandatory.......force them to dress in cheer outfits with either a “D” or an “R” emblazoned and the D’s would be Blue and the R’s Red. Drop the pretense of objectivity and be the full fledged cheerleaders they are.

.......far more disgusting is how seriously these shills take themselves.....for me, they’re on par with carnival barkers.

Late as usual to the party, mine was the Dan Rather memogate. It was not that “What’s the Frequency Kenneth” had spun a lie. Nothing surprising in that. It was the circle-the-wagons response from the rest of the media that finally caused me to gradually start opening my eyes.

Ever after I had a more jaundiced view of what was being reported. Pre-memogate, I may have accepted the proposition that the science is unanimous on climate change. Not after. I used to think that misreporting in the NYT was rare and inadvertent error. No longer. They are partisan liars. I’ve completely stopped watching all t.v. “news” broadcasts.

When/where was your woke breaking point?

Growing up on the comPost.
Then adding the scription to Time as part of a class for some reason.

Reading that garbage and making me LOL, literally, in ‘87 or so that my roommates would look over and tell me to stfu cause I was interrupting Magnum PI.

So, cancelled Time, cancelled NYSlimes, cancelled the birdcage liner newsweak.

It’s all propaganda these days, just look at the owners and guess from there.
