A 74% FT shooting team doesn't go 11-25 from the Foul line they lose there.

Many of us have talked for years that there is a lot of luck to advancing in March. I said part of his issues at UC was just he was a bit unlucky in March. They had a great run, they had some luck to do it.

That team played its ass off for 6 games including matchups with 3 of the top 5 teams in the country. The game plan they are excited against Michigan was perhaps the best I saw all year.

Yep. Luck (maybe "things you simply can't control" is a better term) is definitely a factor and it bounces both ways. Unfortunately for us, Mick's good NCAA Dance luck finally came for a school other than us. But he was a darn good coach for us and did a darn good job for UCLA as well.

Cronin did a good job with the Bearcats and he is doing a good job with the Bruins.
