It's funny ... The refs folks (TV talking heads/casualfans) always seem to b*tch about are the same refs THE COACHES want in a big game.

Explain that to me.

Bo must have incriminating video of someone to get that assignment. He's an about me ref similiar to ted valentine where he gets dramatic with his calls so everyone notices him. It didnt matter but the first charge call on suggs was a very bad miss on Bo's part last night.

I'll never forget that wisconsin green bay years ago where ball was clearly rolling out of bounds right by visitors bench. Bo calls nothing. WGB picks it up and heaves in a pray to win game and that Dbag Coach Kowal... (now toledo coach) barks and talks trash at the chair back fans on the way to the lockerroom. i still dislike that guy too.

And i believe he was suspended for a year a period ago because he hacked into the ref assignment computer sytem.

That explains why you don't like him ... but does not explain why coaches request this guy ... or at the very least, grade him (TedV) very highly. Being demonstrative is what coaches want. They want refs to believe they made the right call, even if they didn't.

After seeing he was on the game I told a friend of mine about that game last night. Took some digging but finally found the video of it to show him. Not great quality of course, so it's tough to see how truly awful it was. Hands down the most ridiculous missed call I've ever seen. I was sitting right infront of the play in line with the sideline. And Bo was running down the sideline looking right at it. I'll never understand how he could possibly miss it.

Anti-Zip, that may well be the most ridiculous missed call I've ever seen, too.

Any video of this???

Don't doubt it was a missed call ... I'd just like to see it if there is any.

Haven't seen it mentioned yet, but LCJ from Akron declared for the draft. Article on ABJ didn't mention if he hired an agent or not.

He can score. I could see a successful stint abroad for him.

Agreed. He’s a tough player for his size but he’s way too small for the NBA.

The D I men's basketball transfer portal now has 1,302 players, almost 30% of all players. for a mean average of almost 4 players per D I team. With 5, Kent State is certainly not unusual.

I don't want to jinx it, but so far we've been lucky in terms of who is transferring. Nuga is the only impact player and even that lose is easier to stomach because of Carry coming in and Jacobs and Santiago returning.

Only Beck and Hamilton are seniors ... whatever other players were last season, they will be next season. A one-time NCAA rule for Covid. For example VCD and JHernandez will be freshmen again.

Two jucos ... a combo forward and a 5-man ... would not only make this team complete, but open the door for possible redshirts for all the freshmen. That would be a plus, unless one of the three rookies can crack the top 8 rotation.

Has an announcement been made on Pippen? I'm assuming he won't come back, but I hadn't heard that for sure yet.

Pippen said even before the season started that he wasn't coming back for a 6th year. Of course, he can always change his mind. The fact that he isn't in the transfer portal means he wants to play professionally somewhere, as he also previously stated.

Should Pippen come back you can count me as officially being done with all things Kent State. Time to move on and for Danny to grow up and be accountable.

What a frustrating player. All the talent in the World but could drive you crazy. My favorite was the defensive rebound dribble down the court not make it for "coast to coast" so pull up for a three. fantastic.
