Cal Bap lost to USC 97-87 in OT
Seattle lost to UCLA 78-52
Chicago lost to Loyola 88-51
WAC vs other tournament teams--
GCU lost to Colorado 74-64
UVU lost to BYU 82-60
RGV lost to Texas 91-55
Tarleton lost to Abilene 69-48
Chicago lost to Illinois 97-38
Chicago lost to Ohio 84-61
Chicago lost to Drake 111-67

RE: Dismal non-conference year versus tourney teams
You can excuse Dixie and Tarleton off that list because it was their first transition year. We can wipe Chicago State off since that’s what we expect from them.
Definitely not great, but not too bad either.

Only thing this really shows is the power conferences have better basketball programs overall and low to mid programs will play them for a payday.

It wasn't meant as a name and shame. Just our games versus teams that made the tournament.
Incidentally, Portland, who Seattle beat, beat Oregon State. Just a side bar of no real consequence, something I noticed.
Other side note, NMSU's 1 D1 non con game was not a tournament team. Otherwise, I believe everyone else had at least one.

I didn’t take it that way, just saying all things considered, not too bad. Not like a normal MEAC or SWAC non-conference resume.
