Not sure about Lomax missing games

His absence mattered most in the Houston games which we lost close

We also nearly lost to both Dayton and Boise State, trailing them both very late in the games. Easy to get enamored when winning four in a row but suspect we would have been even better with Lomax

RE: Transfer Portal and Tiger Schollies
I think an average of 3 players per team have already entered the transfer portal so it see,s impossible we won’t lose someone, maybe more than one

But

This Sophomore heavy team if it stays mostly together will likely be so good next year if they bring the lessons from this season with them, plus them all being a year older

Moo fans think DJ is headed there, I doubt it
Martin is trolling with Boogie leaving
We know Nolley and Williams have moved in the past
We have four four star kids coming in next year

But tough to see who they would replace if the entire team is here next year

Would loved to have seen our team as it has been the past month against Gonzaga. If we would have met them in the tournament we would have ended their season.

If everyone comes back I would only take a transfer if it is a transformational player…

But this season, that's highly unlikely - for any team.
Penny probably has a much better idea than we do, on the status of all his guys.
If we only lose 2 guys to transfer, I'd consider it a success.
And he has shown the ability to get better by taking guys from the portal.

At this point, I doubt anybody would leave.. Put Jayden on walk on status to free up a scholly.. I am sure Penny can afford his tuition.

Get yourself a good PG from the transfer portal.. There are a few good ones on the market.

Jayden is already on walks on status and all schollys are taken unless someone leaves.

I love the tigers and I think this was a good tournament caliber team, but this year’s Gonzaga team is on a different level.

Are we really that concerned about players transferring ...I mean a few posters here, plus some guy named John Martin, inserted this little irritating burr in the mix with the idea of weakening our Tiger spirit on the way to cutting down the net— I have two words to say to them and one finger. No malice lol it was just epic fail on the buzzkillers’ part.

Memphis is back and rolling. If some of the players dont wanna come with ...what’s the big deal
Wish them well and move on. There is no need for us to mourn their choice or beg them to stay.

This is Tiger time again and players will flock.

If the NCAA decides to implement a postseason ban for next season will play a part into how many will come back, in my opinion

Just appeal like Ohio OK state did. Worked pretty well for them.

I believe with our situation going through the IARP we won't be able to appeal. We have to accept whatever the ruling ends up being.

well of course, hence the "maybe"

I remember both of those teams. This was / is a really challenging year for everyone. If the Zags cut em down, it will be discussed.

Absolutely!

They both deserve to stay...But 3 traditional bigs may be too many.

Between Cisse, Dandridge and Sam only one should be on the floor at a time.

You have to have 3 on a roster; 2 available to play at all times, the 3rd in case of injury ....

I'd rather have too much talent than not enough !!!

I agree you can never have too much talent...

But you can play without a traditional big on the floor. We did it a ton this year.

This. It is apparent to any Tiger fan that because of the A Lo injury, it sorta catapulted Boogie; him getting inserted into the starting lineup helped tremendously.
