Oh, and thanks USM guy. Do ya'll still have an athletic department?

RE: Transfer Portal and Tiger Schollies
We take any dynamic playmaker...

Whether that is making plays for himself or someone else.

Doesn't matter what "position" they play...You are the position you can guard...And seeing how we had the #1 defense in the country guarding is not an issue.

Your skillset determines where you play on offense...If can handle the ball and shoot you play on the perimeter...Even if you are guarding a traditional center on the other end.

Chemistry is a big big deal. I remember when we (Josh ) added that 4th guard guy from Missouri because Missouri didn’t want him. Dixon was his name.

How’d that work out

Dixon saw action in all 34 games, and made four starts. He was the team's second-leading scorer (11.8 points per game) and the squad's leader in three-point field goal percentage (38.6%) and free throw percentage (84.4%). He handed out 81 assists (fourth on team), had 43 steals, and also averaged 2.2 rebounds per game.

I wouldn't want to see him leave. I like his perimeter game. Heats up quickly, and we need that.

Apparently, Nolley wasn't our leading scorer, wasn't very good, and he should leave.

Don't get your panties in a wad because I just happen to pick Nolley's potential replacement in Kellan Grady. I only picked Nolley because he seems ready to go try his luck in the pros (G-league or Overseas). I am not saying kick Nolley out, just allow him to make his decision and then wrap up a really good replacement. I think he will leave personally, but would be happy to have him back. Who knows, we could end up losing DJ or Baugh or Boogie (god forbid).

"No means No No Means No" Huge arenas of opposing fans screamed at him. That was upsetting for the whole team in the away games. People were on needles and pins about that dude. Was he going to do the same thing at Memphis>>>>

And the chemistry was never the same after he got there. It was the other three guards last year..I think....can't remember exactly and too uncaring to go look.

That Tigers team was loaded that season.. but the other guards were Jackson, Crawford and Johnson... All seniors.

I don’t recall any bad chemistry.. I believe that team lost to Virginia in the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tourney.. That was the last time we went to the Tourney.

Not what you said. I guess english comprehension is a problem even with stuff you type. We have weird posters that say stuff then deny it when it's in black and white.

Another point guard enters the transfer portal.. Basimile from Virginia Tech.

He didn’t play a lot as a freshman due to Virginia Tech’s depth on the wing.. The Hokies were loaded with guards though

Why let facts get in the way of trying to win an argument?

Yeah, those are his freshmen numbers. Sophomore (16-17) he was 10.3 pts, 4.4 ast, 28% 3pt, 45% fg, 67% ft. Junior year he scored 18.9 pts with splits of 44/32/78, and senior year it was 19.7 on 45/34/76. He made two massive jumps, from freshman to soph and again from soph to junior. It'd be great if some of our returning juniors do the same next year.
