Let's put this into terms that express what actually happened and is happening.
The nation in the mid 1800's decided to deal with slavery because it was contradictory to the principles of the union. A horrible war was fought to determine the outcome.
Slavery existed at the time the nation was created because it was permitted by the colonizing forces in Europe and began with indentured servants which were a limited form of slavery that could be chosen or the result of debts. A collusion between the Portuguese and certain African tribes led to the capture and sale of Africans to the colonies.
So what legally existed under European law was finally settled by conflict in the new world.
Political power struggles led to Jim Crow laws which disenfranchised freed slaves. The Civil Rights movement mid century in the 1900's put an end to that.
Discrimination at the work place was addressed in the 1970's and Affirmative Action was born as a temporary measure to address the wrong of job discrimination.
Then the flip began. Affirmative Action was more broadly applied and the concept used to alter admissions requirements at Universities, then used to alter ACT and SAT lines of examination, then White Bias was claimed to thwart the teaching of logic and now Math is under assault.
Pursuing equal opportunity was abandoned and replaced by trying to fix it so that there were equal results. When equal results are chosen as a societal goal competence and innovation start to break down and fail as standards are replaced by the lowest common denominator.
Our society was built on the being the brightest and the best and pursuing excellence. When the moronic leap, under the guise of Civil Rights, was to dumb down requirements to achieve equal results, those that were damaged were the brightest and best of all races. It ceased to be about righting wrongs and became purely a regressive Socialist policy.
Since forcing equal results can't work, now the issue is that Whites and Asians exist. This is as racist as it gets and the longer we allow these enemies of all that is profoundly good about being a mere human (creativity, innovation, curiosity, scientific approach, thinking beyond the scope of one's own existence) to continue this evil course of action we are doomed to fail. Equal opportunity now is translated as free shelter, food, clothing, and entertainment for simply existing. This is nihilism and it will destroy us all.
So when you say no country is perfect that is true, but what goes unsaid is that for 200 plus years of this nation's existence it has truly tried to become a more perfect and just union, at least until about the 1990's when Liberation Theology gave rise to Critical Race Theory, and both are simply the repackaging of Marxism in the guise of social reform.
It ceased being about race a long time ago and became about making demands for free stuff the rest of us work to get.
If they keep goading the Whites and Asians racially, and attacking the productive African Americans, and family oriented hard working Hispanics, they are going to bite off way more than they can chew and they will force this country's people to fight back. When that happens, if corporations throw in with the middle class, we will have fascism and the scapegoats will be those who alienated themselves by provoking the productive who always remain asleep at the wheel until they get threatened and then always strike back forcefully and ferociously like they did against Germany and Japan.
These Marxist agitators, and that is what they are, think that they can make inroads if they poke the middle class. All they will do is what Yamamoto feared, "awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve."
America is not being attacked because it is racist, because it is one of the least racist nations in a world filled with xenophobes. America is being attacked because it is massively successful in a world that competes for resources. And it is being attacked because it doesn't think about race and if we don't think about it those groups that exist and profit from claims of racism fail. So they have to manufacture racism where it doesn't exist and they do that through Critical Race Theory that tells people how everything can be twisted to be considered racist, and by pissing off the productive middle class hoping to make them feel guilty.
I wonder if these dumbasses realize that when Americans get through feeling guilty they just get pissed off and all sympathy disappears? I wonder that because that's where we are headed fast and capitalism without sympathy is as cold hearted and as vicious as it gets. So pushing no "God" as religions usually encourage compassion, and pushing hate for racial groups like Asians and Whites, is going to prompt a merciless backlash that a fraction of a minority isn't going to want to experience. And one that will damage us all as we ally ourselves with a heartless system in order to survive.
