That was awesome. Hopefully our offense doesn't have to make many tackles next year lol.

Regarding Waylee, there was a quote in one of the NIU Huskie articles that he was breaking 60 yard runs daily. If he can get a hole, he could be gone. I hope he is more like Garrett Wolfe than Dri Archer
He isn't anything like either of those guys.
Dri was tiny, garrett was tiny...Waylee is 5'10 180lbs...already heavier and taller than either guy. Plus 5'10 is about the height you want a RB.
I would have no concern giving him 20 touches in college football...maybe more. He will need to add weight to carry in the NFL, but here, he's good to go.
He and archer are close in size...5’8” -180 for archer and 5’10” -180 for Waylee. I consider both of them as being slight of frame. NS why they run away from people .Wolfe being 5’7” 185 had more of that compact power. Archer and Waylee to me are 1 cut and go guys.. Wolfe could weave, juke and break tackles.

Quote:[Cyrus] McGarrell has already made an impression this spring.
"McGarrell is our No. 3 or 4 corner working at practice, with a chance to elevate himself," Hammock said.
So basically, McGarrell is already at the Nickel spot with the rest of Spring and Fall Camp left to jump into one of the two starting CB spots.

Agree.
Td vs. Michigan was perhaps the greatest play. The entire defense was chasing him like a peewee game

I would think McGarrell is on the outside when he comes in, slide Gandy to the slot.
The depth chart is probably something like Gandy & Thomas, backed up by McGarrell, McGee, and Rodgers. I doubt the starters feel that safe - and they shouldn't.
Georgia Tech is our first game, big time team, big time stadium. You probably start your vets (Thomas and gandy saw a ton of snaps, as did McGee.) By game...or quarter...2 the kids will probably take over.

Don't think so? I think they both graduated from NIU. One of them is an assistant at Wisconsin now.

We have like 6 WR that I feel really good about...it's going to be a crazy season. I don't really recall being that excited about that many WR on the roster.
