I've been saying all year long, we are way to loose on the perimeter.

One of the Cavinder sisters is up to 21 points, 78-73.
Schwartz gets blocked.
Swayze gets a block on the other end.

RE: WNIT Thread
Lead down to 5 with 2:06 left. Our D has disappeared. A repeat of ODU, Marshall and MTSU.
And we've committed more TOs this quarter than the previous 3 combined.

RE: WNIT Thread
Huge 3 by Swayze (her first bucket of the half) ups lead to 81-73 @ 1:02.
No turnovers and hit free throws and we should have this, but that's a big if.

Nice steal by Rice.
Swayze makes her FTs.

Another steal by Rice and a layup.

Great job by the women. Regional final of the bracket is Monday night (against either undefeated California Baptist or San Francisco).
Season high in points by Rice. Mulkey almost had a career high. And 5 straight 20-win seasons to extend their school record. All around super job.

RE: WNIT Thread
That will do it. Good poise the last 2 minutes to right the ship.
87-73 final as Rice scores final 9 points of game.
Mulkey: career-high 28 points, 8 boards, 2 blocks, 2 assists
Schwartz: 20 points, 7 boards, 4 assists
Smith: 15 points, 7 boards, 10 assists, 4 steals
Swayze: 14 ponts, 4 boards, 4 assists
Defense left something to be desired in the 4Q, but aside from that an outstanding all-around game.
10 TOs (6 in 4Q) vs. 25 assists.
As good as Nancy and Lauren were, I give Jasmine the star of the game honors for running the offense and lighting up the scorecard...and those 10 assists might be a career high.

Aside from New Mexico, who were the "good wins"? That schedule makes ours look much tougher.
You are right...the UCI and Seattle were the best.
USF on paper looks better and they beat the Cougars

If Cal Baptist wins every team we will face in regional will (like us) be a current or former WAC member.
