2022 recruitment
Haven’t seen anything about new recruits. Have any of you heard anything?
One thing I’d like to know is if I wanted to tip off the coaches on someone I believe should be on our radar. How do we do that? My cousin’s son is in the eighth grade and kicked a 43 yard field goal a couple days. This kid has been working so hard and has so much talent that he should be targeted as soon as possible. And did I mention, he’s a local boy from Wood County

RE: 2022 recruitment
These days, 43yds FG is starting territory for the middle school team. This is crazy. Are the balls lighter? Gravity weaker? Crazy.

We seem to have good kickers and good high jumpers around here. Must be a reason. Someone running camps or something.

He and his dad are always working out together. I’m quite impressed with this boy’s drive and ambition

Always felt bad for Joplin’s kid, jumping 6’10” and being the third best local HJer in high school. Like Tweetie says to Sylvester: “Did they wepeaw the waw of gwavity and not tew anyone?” 43 yards is one we weren’t trying last year by season’s end. I know there are NCAA restrictions on contacts and stuff but I’d sure be pointing him out to someone. My neighbor’s daughter broke the Perrysburg eighth grade shot record by several feet a couple years ago.
