Fresh start for him, although Jets is worse franchise than Tennessee.

Yikes. Good for him money wise, but that's not the place you go if you want to have a successful career. Hopefully he finds success there.

If the Jets get Watson, it would be awesome for Corey.

I was hoping he would come to the texans.

RE: Corey Davis
I was greedily hoping he would sign in Detroit and offset the loss of Golladay. He will have a bronco face in Moreland on the Jets staff.

100% agree. Yikes for his career stat wise. Who’s gonna be the QB. Just hope he gets a throwing offense unlike TN

RE: Corey Davis
This is actually not a bad move for Corey, despite the Jets being the 2nd most pathetic organization in professional football.

The Titans are a run-first offense, they haven't had great QBs, and AJ Brown is their #1 guy now. The Jets have a new staff and are going to take a QB at #2 in the draft (or ideally get Deshaun Watson). If they get a guy that can push the ball downfield to Davis, it could really help Davis' career.

I look forward to seeing what happens!

I suspect no WR is looking at Detroit with Stafford gone.

I think he's getting $22M guaranteed, too. Thrilled for him!

RE: Corey Davis
Did you see that in an interview Corey said he expects Sam Darnold to be the QB? Way to blow the teams draft strategy Corey when the team is sitting at #2. Gotta play poker before the draft.

RE: Corey Davis
I'm seeing online that the Jets traded Darnold to the Panthers. He'll likely have a rookie throwing to him.

Looks like the jets are going for Zach Wilson BYU QB. The same QB that carved us up in the potato bowl a few years ago.

This is likely better for Corey down the road.

RE: Corey Davis
As a franchise Jets aren't much better than Lions who have worst winning percentage in league since 1978 (start of 16-game seasons).

I feel like "carved us up" is being kind!

RE: Corey Davis
Sadly, his career is pretty much over but at least he’s paid. “Speaking to the media, Jets wide receiver Corey Davis was asked about the number of hits Wilson has been taking this season. Davis seemingly dismissed the question, saying “It’s a grown man’s league.”” He’s dropping a lot of passes and looks pretty bad.

He’s got 12 receptions on 22 targets. I can’t find how many of those were drops but I’m willing to bet more than half of them weren’t catchable balls. His career would be completely different had he gone to Vikings, Lions, Packers, Patriots, Bucs, Cardinals, Chiefs, Seahawks, 49ers, Cowboys, etc. He’s been stuck on teams with terrible QB play. Maybe the Jets will sign Rogers next year!

RE: Corey Davis
From an on field perspective (not so much a $ perpective obviously) the move to the Jets was a big gamble. One that can't remotely be judged three games into a rookie QB's tenure. It's extremely rare for a rookie QB to come in and immediately succeed with any consistency.
