He hired a 77 year old manager who had been retired for 8 years and on the heels of his second DUI to take over a major rebuild because he regretted firing him 35 years ago. They’re .500 in a terrible division if you want to call that “capable of winning the Series.”

I agree that was a bad move to hire LaRussa. But Reinsdorf regrets letting Harrelson fire Larussa. In his mind he is trying to right a wrong.
His intentions are good, but we know that good intentions pave the way to hell.

Agreed. Don’t know what’s wrong with the Sox, but they are no better than a .500 team. Is it all because of injuries? A bad manager? Or, is it maybe these are just not the right players (which I have a hard time believing)?

The injuries certainly haven't helped. Too many of them. Our bullpen which was great last year is not very good. Lance Lynn, who was an ace and got injured before the season, is now not reliable. Dylan Cease is our only ace and Johnny Cueto somehow became our 2nd best starter.

We also strand a lot of baserunners and have difficulty getting runs with runners in scoring position.

GO HUSKIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By their home attendance, probably not.

Lazy and very uninformed narrative. They are averaging just under 25,000 per game.

Plenty of activity.

Could you remind me again of the average attendance at an Eastern Michigan football game?
