KSU Men's Golf has played in 2 tournaments thus far and is currently playing in the General Hackler Collegiate. Finished in 3rd @ the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate and finished in 9th @ The Border Olympics.

KSU is currently in 5th place @ the General Hackler Championship.

Then KSU men's golf plays in the Hootie Intercollegiate, Boilermaker Invitational, Rutherford Intercollegiate, & Robert Kepler Intercollegiate and then the MAC Championships.

Seems as though a lot of the players have improved from last year and Mills/Yip are getting them back to where KSU Men's Golf should be.

Masters of the Midwest. The Golden Flashes (men this time) won the Boilermaker Invitational by two strokes over #6 Illinois. The field included eight Big Ten schools & four MAC schools. Congratulations!

Similar round to Oklahoma on the Women's side in the Regional Kent was in. Was in first after the first round, then went Free Falling Tom Petty Style in Round 2 out of contention.

We are cooked. Season over. Seems like the men's program is not the same caliber it was under Herb. Hard to be surprised at that statement, but it's sad.

Herb’s teams had plenty of years well outside the top 25. Let’s not rewrite history. This was a top 50 team that would have overachieved had they advanced. The teams that did advance this year were all ranked between #3-#26. This regional played to form. Herb’s teams had more years than not when they didn’t advance out of the regional, and he was at the pinnacle of coaches.

They were the #8 seed and finished 8th. The 3 freshmen coming in the fall are more talented than the 3 seniors who are graduating. We will see how they do next season now that the COVID non-sense is behind everybody.

I sense better days ahead for the Men as well!

Herb Page pretty obviously wanted Jon Mills to succeed him. If Herb has faith in him, I do as well. Good year and looking ahead to better years.

Team was ranked #46 and finished in a six way tie for 43rd. Pretty much right on. You are right that we were not a shoo in to get out the the regionals. Probably only did it about 20-25% of the time.

His teams went to 28 NCAA regionals, winning three, and finished in the nation’s top 10 four times in 17 NCAA Championship appearances."
