Kruger could be a significant domino. Lots of sitting head coaches will be vying for that one.

I would write him a glowing recommendation.

Kruger is supposed to be one of the good guys, correct? If so, sorry to see him go.

Haha. I'll bite. Where does he rank in NCAAT appearances? Wins?

Appreciate the research, but definitely not the question that I asked.

Well, that site gives you all the information you're looking for. But since you're being lazy, here you go.

He's tied for 43rd in appearances and he's tied for 47th in wins.

By all accounts, he is one of the best guys. He’s retiring to move back to Vegas, hang out with his grandkids, and support his son who just got his first head gig as HC for UNLV.

Texas didn't fire Shaka. He's leaving on his own accord. Although, he may very well be leaving right before they have a chance to fire him.

If I was Shaka, I would make them fire me. $7.1 million walking change is nothing to sneeze at.

Marquette seems like a good fit for Shaka. I would expect him to do well there.

By all accounts I've read, Shaka is a stand up dude. Right before they lost that first game, I read the players there loved him and so did the athletic department folks. Not sure how many millions he has already made and how much he's gonna make at new gig if he takes it, so he's not lacking in money, it seems. It would be sort of refreshing to see a coach just say ok, I hear you, I didn't do as good as I said I would, I'm moving on then. But that's just me.

It's a bit of a home coming for Shaka, he's from Wisconsin. Should be a soft landing and gets to coach in the Big East.

The Winthrop coach took the College of Charleston job after the C of C coach went to Boston College.
