Toledo in NIT vs Richmond
Got a good draw as 3 seed vs Richmond, we can do his game. If victorious then likely play St Louis.

RE: Toledo in NIT vs Richmond
Can beat Richmond, as long as the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex isn’t Cleveland. Rockets can’t have a repeat of their shooting % and rebounding troubles. And in 2 MAC Tournament games out bench totaled 10 points and 5 rebounds. I’m gonna go on a ledge and say we’ll need more productivity from the bench than 5 points and 2 or 3 rebounds to beat the Spiders. I just have a feeling that Komagum might see a few more minutes and help out with some rebounding...

RE: Toledo in NIT vs Richmond
While I’m sure the interest will be limited to the fans of the teams playing and to basketball junkies, Toledo vs. Richmond will be the only game in town on national television Wednesday at 7. Toledo has the chance of going up against possibly 2 A-10 Teams in the first two rounds in Richmond and St. Louis respectively which should be good bell weather games against a supposedly stronger conference than the MAC. Just as important, it rewards the team for a great regular season and gives our two seniors Jackson and Littleson a change to go out on a more positive note. In addition, it also gives are returning players a chance to experience post season play and maybe gain some momentum going into the offseason and beyond.

and of course one of the local azzhat morning jocksters called it "kissing your sister." One of those makes money being a jerk and it's okay to them because they admit they're a jerk. Never understood the people that hang around that type. I need to learn how to change the channel on that darn thing, lol.

Good luck to the team. A post season well deserved, unlike the 7th, 8th, 9th Big 10 team.

Nice to see 2 teams getting in this year. Will root for you guys. Think Toledo can beat Richmond, but need to finish strong. St Louis is very strong and Ford is pretty good with adjustments. Ask the Zips, they had the strong guy a little small that was killing UMass and he adjusted putting a double team on him for the second half.
For reference, Richmond did beat us at there place and St. Louis beat us by double digits both games.

Littleson needs 10 plus shots. You cant have the best 3 point shooter in the country shooting 6,8, shots like in the semi game. Their game plan should be, let MJ get his 29, and lock up the shooters. Do we have an answer? also for the love of god, Check out.

Sounds like Richmond have two guys that are hurt and game time decisions.

And I would be remiss not to congratulate the pre-season prohibitive MAC favorites, BGSU, for making the post-season CBI or something where they will battle the 11-14 Stetson Hatters.

yeah, their good 6-10 guy has a broken finger which he tried to play through in the A10 tourney. more of a point forward type than a banger. I think their leading scorer also is a ?? their message board is very negative. they were picked 1st in the A10 and finished like 6th, so there's a bit of role reversal in this game. more of a finesse team like us so should be an entertaining up and down game that will probably be decided by who is more motivated and who knocks down 3s. they do have a little defensive guard who leads the nation in steals, so marreon is gonna need to be tighter with the rock.

if rockets advance st Louis will be a tough matchup (if they are not upset). they are very physical but struggle shooting at times, kind of like a better buffalo.

The Richmond board is low on their team. Expencting a loss with a key player already deemed out.

I like Miss St in the other game.

John O'Connor
@RTDjohnoconnor
Neither guard Blake Francis (hip/back) nor forward Grant Golden (finger) will play for Richmond tonight v. Toledo in NIT. Those are Spiders’ top two scorers.

A VCU poster was asking it the two Rocket players are the top scorers. Don't know the details if you'd like to share.
Not will be eating and travel an hour to play pool tonight.

Neither has played in months but both did, or were, expected to, contribute. The loss of the MAC’s best shot blocker, 6’10” Edu, forced us to go small ball, although his 6’7” replacement has blocked a lot of shots. Hill, our backupointguard, gave us badly needed depth at that position. Neither were counted on to be big scorers.
