Sorry, Redbirds.

Maybe the ACC is getting the respect it earned.

Fortunately Ahia State is what everyone is talking about. Go Oral Roberts.

Thank you, Syracuse, for stopping the sweep.

At least VT took UF to overtime, and Clemson kept it close.

Ugh.

Schadenfreude
The ACC started the NCAA Tournament 1-4... but, hey, all but one of those teams were either underdogs or 8/9 match-ups anyway!

The Big Ten is a whole different situation.
#2 Ohio State lost to #15 Oral Roberts by three in overtime.
#4 Purdue lost to #13 North Texas by nine, also in OT.
Of course, Michigan State had already been eliminated by UCLA in the play-in game.
Thank goodness Illinois got a #1 seed so they could beat up on Drexel... and I guess the B1G should also be thankful that two of their teams - Wisconsin and Rutgers - got the privelege of facing ACC opponents. [sigh]

Florida State and Virginia can certainly make up for yesterday. They are the teams the ACC needs to make a statement in the tournament.

Hey, Virginia's still the defending national champion until someone beats them!

No bowl wins. Nearly no tournament wins. This may be the worst the ACC has ever been.

I'll be pulling for Wes Miller's team the hometown boys from Greensboro.
I understand that Leonard Hamilton will be coaching today with a ruptured Achilles.

Honestly, the first day was so bad that the ACC now needs Syracuse, FSU and UVA to all make it to the Sweet 16 just to guarantee the league finishes at .500

Excellent point - I had suppressed the memory of bowl season. Is the ACC turning into the Pac-12? I sure hope not!

Ridiculous, you pull for them to play well in a loss. You want FSU to win to gain more NCAA units

UNC fans don't seem to get the idea of "conferencemates" very well.

It is why they all love Duke & Texas so much. Birds of a feather, and what not!

Pretty bad showing so far by the ACC. At least Cuse and FSU advanced.

What happened to Georgetown? I thought they may upset Colorado...

RE: NCAA Tournament - 2021
Among teams most screwed by COVID-19, Virginia's probably near the top of the list. There's a decent chance they win the ACC Tournament if they didn't have to pull out and they lost preparation for the NCAA Tournament this week because of it.

Of course #1 on the list is another Virginia school (and I'm not talking about VT).

As if this NCAA Tournament can't get any worse. Can someone in this country actually beat a Pac-12 team????
