Flashes lost in OT to UVA in December, but that was a different KSU team than the one that ended the season in Cleveland without Nuga and Pippin.

I have a friend telling me now that if Virginia gets another positive test by tomorrow, there's a possibility that Louisville will take their place.

Huge disclaimer: I haven't seen anything to verify this yet.

From what I have heard, if Virginia pulls out by end of day Tuesday, Louisville will take their place. If they are forced to pull out at any point after that cutoff, Ohio would get what is called a walkover and advance to the Round of 32. The game would not count on Ohio's record, they would just move on to the next round.

How many recent first round wins do MAC teams have? It’s an underrated league. Should get two teams in the NCAA’s every once in a while.
