Who's in, who's out in CUSA?
Admittedly, I don't really follow CUSA basketball that closely when USM sucks (which has been the case for a few years now)...but will UNT be our only bid this year? When was the last year that CUSA had multiple bids?

I'm really hoping WKU get a bid. They had that big win over Bama this season. I hope it is enough. They are a very good team.

Maybe that would open the door for LA Tech or UAB to get an NIT bid. We will know at 6:15 tonight.

2012:

Memphis won the CUSA Tournament on its home court (FedEx Forum), got the autobid, and was seeded 8th in the West. Played 9th-seed Saint Louis in Columbus, Ohio and lost 61-54. Final record 26-9.

Southern Miss got an at-large bid and was seeded 9th in the East. Played 8th-seed Kansas State in Pittsburgh and lost 70-64. Final record 25-9.

Conference USA has been a one-bid league ever since.

Is NIT taking 16 teams and no auto-bids. I wonder how many teams will op-out.

Several schools are turning down NIT bids.

Really??? The last time CUSA had multiple bids was when we went dancing? Feels like forever ago. That's sad.

Yep, all at-large.

RE: Who's in, who's out in CUSA?
The question is: Does the NIT take Duke? And if so, would Duke play? They weren’t even one of the “first four out”. I don’t think they’ll stoop to play in the lowly NIT (as they probably view it), so this could make it easier for WKU to get in.
