Our receivers are next-level talented, we just have to force the ball in their hands without totally abandoning the run. Last game we were hard-headed about being run-heavy. I'll say it again though, this Dixie QB is mustard.

The more I look at it, the purple helmet REALLY looks out of place with the icy white unis. I remember white helmets with the Tarleton purple block "T" back in the day. Surely Nike can come up with something.

Whitten's fatal flaw is he's too nice of a guy. He doesn't go for the kill. We could have easily hung 56 on nmsu had we just stuck to what was working. He gets too conservative when we're up. Exactly what cost us the win against McNeese.

Even the Dixie commentators are questioning our conservative run play-calling when throwing the ball downfield was working so well. It's that obvious.
