Agree.. Cincy can't defend the perimeter for sh*t.. They are losing by 20.. They are TOAST.

But what I am afraid.. the NCAA is gonna try so hard to give Duke an at large bid no matter what.. And that's a shame.. Looks like the AAC will be a one bid league team.. Wichita St could miss the tourney.

Too fond of memories there especially their freshman year. They were ranked 90 kenpom. 146 offense 64 defense. They would be completely undermanned physically. We would crush them.

And those freshmen still made it to the 2010-2011 NCCA Tourney.. This team won't.

Does saying that make you feel like you proved something? We were in a rat conference back then and had to win the conference tournament by the skin of our teeth just to get in. I was extremely proud of the fight in those kids, but they wouldn’t have made to the tourney as freshmen in the AAC.

Go watch the conference tournament that year and tell me what you see. We were waaay better at the end of the season than the beginning.

This year's team are not some worldbeating team. They struggle to win most games. They're inconsistent. They make tons of mistakes. They don't have a ballcontroller shot creator like Jackson or Barton. Freshman antonio barton would be our unquestioned starting PG this year.

they're not getting shoved around with Will Coleman, Tarik Black, and Will Barton out there.

Again for the third time I said that second year was the only year they were better than us. Yes that frosh year they had an amazing comeback @utep. We would have manhandled them. Tarik was in constant foul trouble. There was no will Coleman and all of their guards were rail thin. They couldn’t have handled our physicality and length. The sophomore year they were better than this team. The following 2 NCAA teams we are currently better than. This has nothing to do with us making the tournament this year or not.

Will Coleman was on that team. We can't prove this but my opinion is we try to run a full court press on that team and Joe Jackson is going to be sprinting at the rim getting layups all game. Too quick and too good of a handle.

Joe also was a work in progress his freshman year. He made a lot of mistakes and drove into traffic a lot. Our length would have given him major fits as he consistently got stuffed at the rim before he improved his midrange game.
