But but the red rifle! Free agents know better than to sign with Chicago. At least they should know.

The next time the Bears are relevant will be when the McCaskey family sells the team.

Other than his time with the Lions, what's impressed me about Golladay was his ability to produce with Hare, Fiedler and....Graham at qb

WRs like that, specifically Allen Robinson I give extra praise too. They can produce no matter who is behind center.

Let's hope Dolton works out, but I have my doubts. Not because of his abilities, but because it's the Bears - the team where QBs sink or rise to bare mediocrity. It's either something with their system or coaches - maybe just incredibly poor drafting and/or trading - but the Bears have a long history of meh QBs.

RE: Golladay Free Agency
Dalton’s a weird QB. I mean he won and played well...with the Bengals!!!

His only weapons were AJ green...and Gio Bernard (if you want to call him a weapon.)

His stats were not bad in Dallas either.

The only thing I will say is Kenny can go up and get the ball, Handy Andy stays short to intermediate. I don’t like the Kenny fit.

No way the Bears are gonna pay both Robinson & Kenny $$$$.

Love KG but Robinson is better.

KG probably ends up with the Giants which probably not the greatest for his career but he will get PAID!

I'll believe it when I see it. The Ravens have made a habit of signing value receivers past their prime. Kenny is big ticket and under 30.

Nope. Not sure what you think you see in Robinson--- not saying he's bad... but...

Kenny G is one of the to receivers in the NFL. He is top shelf. Robinson? Not so sure.

KG will not be a Bengal. They low-balled him with a one-year offer.

Don’t sell Robinson short. He is a hell of a wr. 200 catches the last two seasons with the Bear’s carousel of QBs. Plus his first 4 years he was catching passes from Blake Bortles. I’d put Allen and Kenny in that same group of maybe 6-10 or 12.

Bears are embarrassingly incompetent.

Insulting low-ball offer when they routinely do stupid sh*t like this:

I certainly won’t argue the incompetence. As for the offer- from the bit I’ve heard/followed free agency, particularly with receivers it doesn’t seem off base. Last I heard cap was going down due to decreased revenue this season (the new $100 BILLION tv should help) and is expected back up next. For those who sign a 1 year deal this year, there will be more money to be had next.

Hahahaha there are some good ones out there. Fuller cut today.. it’s gunna be a long season.

Anyway back to Kenny G- I just read he is looking for 18.5M in which case the 10-12 is way off at least as he sees it. Considering Allen Robinson is getting 18 on the tag 10-12 is sounding more and more on par for Kenny. As awesome as it would be to see him in Chicago, for his sake I hope he goes somewhere with a legitimate HC and QB.

I think the number should fall more in the 15.5-16M range.

We’ll see, maybe even later today

He didn't really have a choice. If he refuses to sign the tender, he has to sit out the season.
